How will a theme park affect wildlife in Washington State?

A Big6 Research Project by Third Graders at Maplewood K-8 School

1. We want to send a letter to theme park companies asking them to build one in our state.
2. We want to be responsible by suggesting a site within our state that will have the least impact on wildlife.
3. We will need to gather information about Washington State wildlife, following the Big6 research process www.big6.com.
4. We will use the Sno-Isle Public Library web catalog www.sno-isle.org and our library cards to place holds on books that we will use.
5. We will visit the Edmonds Public Library to locate our books on hold and find facts about our animals.
6. We will also visit 3 different websites to find facts about our animals.
7. We will put our facts in our own words, and post them to this wiki.
8. We will then examine our results and determine the best site for a theme park.
9. Finally, we will compose a letter and email it to theme park companies.
